Norris is an outfielder who was selected in June of 2018 in the 19th round of the MLB draft. Norris left WSSU after his junior season to sign with the San Francisco Giants. He was the first WSSU player drafted since 1985. Norris, who is from High Point and is a graduate of Greensboro Dudley, has proven to be among the talented. He was recently assigned to the Giants High A minor league team in San Jose.
